What a wonderful restaurant :). The owners are extremely warm with traditional Chinese hospitality, always excited to take your order and vocal and appreciative of your patronage. When the hours are slower, they often make small chit chat as well and enjoy engaging with customers. I feel like the owners are very passionate about cooking good food and find great joy in knowing that their customers enjoy the food. I've been here about 3-4 times, and have ordered the beef noodle soup, and stir fried pork noodles, all scissor cut. Everything has always tasted great and flavorful.

The owner highly recommended the salt-and-pepper eggplant and even said if we didn’t like it, it would be on the house. I’m usually not an eggplant person at all, but it was surprisingly delicious! 😂 The owner is hilarious and makes the whole dining experience so much fun. Great food and great vibes. The beef in the beef noodle soup was tender and flavorful. I personally found the broth a little on the lighter side, but that’s just my preference. Next time I’ll definitely ask for less noodles because the portion is huge! Haha

I have high expectations of the place because I really like knife cut noodles and the place looks legit. The owner even have the look of a knife cut noodle master (it's a Chinese urban legend that knife cut masters shave their heads). I believe that he was an ex-athlete. The wife or the waitress looked really familiar (I'm fairly certain I've seen her in another restaurant before). The service is friendly and pretty good. The place itself is in a strip mall that I knew about only because I used to live close by and there is a Mongolian BBQ place when I feel like having that. Anyways the place itself is decorated just like any other Chinese restaurant and it's not too small. The location is surprisingly popular among non Chinese so my view is strictly Chinese as someone who loves knife cut noodles and often goes to Shanxi for the authentic version. The biggest problem is the same with many other places in that the dough is not mixed (with force) enough times so the noodle feels soggy even if fresh. I know that it takes extra time and effort but that's literally the point of knife cut noodle. Pulled noodles can be pulled extra times but for knife cut noodles the dough needs to be m

This was my first time having lunch at this restaurant, and I had a great experience. I highly recommend the dan dan noodles and roujiamo, a Chinese-style meat sandwich — both were flavorful and delicious. Special thanks to Brother Ma for his warm and attentive service. He was very welcoming and even brought us fruit plates, oranges, and pomelo. To my surprise, Brother Ma is also a world champion in a World Cup skills competition, and he even performed a handstand for us at the restaurant. I never expected to meet a world champion during lunch! Overall, it was a very pleasant and memorable experience, and I would definitely come back again.

The dan dan noodles were absolutely amazing — honestly, some of the most authentic I’ve ever had. The red oil wontons were highly recommended by the owner (who confidently said “if it’s not good, you don’t have to pay”), and they definitely lived up to the hype — so flavorful and delicious. The Sichuan sausage was also excellent. My friend and I ordered three main dishes plus the sausage, and we finished everything — that says a lot! The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, such a fantastic meal. Highly recommend!
